Vice President of Clinical Services

Department: COMMUNITY LIVING
Location: North Kansas City, MO

**Job Summary:**
The Vice President of Clinical Services is a key member of the Life Unlimited Executive Team, responsible for leading the expanding clinical team. This role involves overseeing current ABA services and developing, implementing, and assessing goals for expanded clinical services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The individual in this position will exemplify leadership qualities, cultivate a positive organizational culture, and emphasize the agency's commitment to providing high-quality community-based health services.

**Responsibilities:**
- Lead program growth, expansion, and operational efficiencies by contributing to the organization's strategic plan and executing strategic initiatives.
- Expand current ABA services to meet community needs and develop new clinical programs in collaboration with the executive team.
- Recruit, hire, and train department staff for existing and new programs and promote clinical services to community stakeholders through active outreach.
- Establish success benchmarks for program enrollment and clinician caseloads to ensure financial viability of clinical programs.
- Ensure that clinical services align with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic plan and collaborate with program leadership to monitor and improve service quality.
- Monitor data for all clinical programs, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and integrate clinical programs with other agency services.
- Maintain financial oversight by ensuring programs operate within approved budgets, interpreting operational indicators, and maximizing billing opportunities.
- Optimize staffing levels, provide performance feedback, conduct trainings, and ensure standardized quality in clinical services agency-wide.
- Foster open communication within the department and across the organization, including engagement with families, individuals, healthcare professionals, and oversight agencies.
- Conduct regular clinical department meetings, participate in leadership discussions, and utilize technology effectively for information management.

**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful clinical programs.
- Strong data interpretation and reporting skills, along with expertise in IDD field clinical services.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards for clinical services.
- Efficient time management skills and the ability to use electronic equipment effectively.
- Class E driver's license required during new hire orientation.
- Seasonal flu vaccination mandatory.

**Physical Expectations:**
This role may involve periods of walking, standing, sitting, lifting, stooping, bending, and driving. Extended computer use is also expected.

**Working Conditions:**
The role is based in an office/home environment with typical office noise and potential exposure to infectious diseases.
